Families are being delayed in-country due to the confused implementation of new tb requirement. This does nothing to 'protect' anybody as business people and tourists travel all over and never have to be bothered with these 'checks'. These little ones are no threat. Even after children have been treated and recovered, even after U.S. Pediatricians guarantee in writing that the child in question is not contagious after two weeks on medication... the uscis says it will take them SIX MONTHS to process the paperwork for the children to come home! Meanwhile, adoption is final in China and family has family, job and other children back home and cannot leave their newly adopted child alone in country... it's devastating for adopting families and absolutley short sightned/misinformed government spaghetti! So many little one's like Gates will lose their hope of a family and life and a future because people will abandon the abandoned feeling helpless to navigate the 'risks' created by the U. S. Government alone!

Hi, Project Hopeful can get the paperwork expedited and completed in approx 10 days. The problem is the CDC forcing these children to do a sputum culture right before they're supposed to leave. The sputum culture takes 2 months to culture and get results from and has to be done by specific doctors. This little girl already had one done by a great hospital and the CDC is refusing to accept the results and is forcing them to do it again with a different doctor.
